PCRS Response to COVID-19
Like you, PCRS is closely monitoring the Coronavirus pandemic, and acting as quickly as possible to gather information and make decisions on a day by day basis. We are actively following the advice of the federal government and BC’s Medical Health Officer.
Our Board of Directors and senior leadership team are working to balance meeting the needs of our participants and keeping our staff and their families safe. We are actively connecting with our partner agencies and funders to maintain communication, coordination and to inform our decisions. To the best of our ability, we continue to provide our essential services including residential programs, supportive housing and core administration. This means that until further notice, we have temporarily closed non-essential worksites, offering online/phone support to participants where possible, and redeploying staff where needed. We have also taken measures to keep essential services fully staffed to ensure our high risk, vulnerable populations are served. We are also heeding the advice to have people maintain social distancing when they need to be on a worksite and have increased the frequency of cleaning at all locations.
We appreciate everyone’s support at this time. We will continue to post updates
on our social media channels. If you need to connect with us, please
email communications@pcrs.ca and we
will respond as soon as we are able.
Thank you and please stay well!
