Job Options
Fraser Valley Regional District
Job Options is a virtual eight-week employment program that provides workshops on life and employment skills such as Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution, Goals Setting, Career Exploration, Skills Assessments, Resumes, Cover Letter, Interview Skills, Labour Market Information and Networking. All participants get certified in Super Host: Foundations of Service Quality and given certificates that fit their career goals. Program facilitators connect with participants in one-on-one meetings in addition to the workshops to help meet specific needs of the individuals. There is a training allowance available along with bonuses.

No – Job Options gives you the tools to get a better understanding of your skills, values and employment goals, and the best way to reach them. We do this with weekly workshops including personal assessments and one-on-one meetings.
Yes, as long as you are working less than 20 hours a week and your goal is to find more sustainable employment. Your schedule must also allow you to join our workshops on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am-2 pm.
Yes – we are able to provide all aspects of the program virtually.
