We’re excited to share that Foundry Surrey Central is now officially open! Operated by Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS), this new Foundry centre provides free, confidential, and low-barrier health and wellness services for young people aged 12 to 24.
Foundry Surrey Central joins a growing network of Foundry centres across British Columbia, all working to make mental health, physical health, and social supports more accessible for youth and their families.
Comprehensive, Youth-Centred Support
At Foundry Surrey Central, youth can access a wide range of integrated services — all under one roof:
- Drop-in and scheduled mental-health counselling
- Peer support from trained youth and young adults with lived experience
- Physical and sexual health care
- Access to groups, workshops, and community connections
- Education and employment support
- Early intervention, prevention, and substance-use services
These supports are designed to meet youth where they’re at, offering same-day, walk-in, or scheduled options that reduce barriers and provide care when it’s needed most.
A Milestone for Youth Mental Health in Surrey
“Too many young people are experiencing mental-health challenges and face barriers when reaching out for support,” said Josie Osborne, Minister of Health. “The opening of Foundry Surrey Central changes that by delivering free, same-day access to counselling, peer support and co-ordination of care in one place so youth can receive the timely support they need to build resilience and move forward with confidence and hope.”
The opening of Foundry Surrey Central represents a major step forward in expanding access to integrated, youth-friendly care in the Surrey community. It’s a space built on collaboration, compassion, and the belief that every young person deserves to be supported in their journey toward wellness.

Youth can now find the care they need close to home — whether that means talking with a counsellor, connecting with a peer, accessing health services, or finding support for school and work.
