We are incredibly grateful to be part of the City of Surrey’s remarkable $4.5 million investment in youth resiliency programs! This significant commitment will empower young people to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and foster a strong sense of community.
Through our Learning to Lead Youth Resiliency Program, we will provide one-to-one mentorship and group activities that encourage personal growth and meaningful connections. This initiative is designed to support 14- to 17-year-olds with individualized services and structured group activities that enhance their ability to navigate life’s challenges.
At PCRS, we are committed to making a lasting impact. Our staff provide one-on-one mentorship and community-based group activities to youth in Surrey.
Our dedicated team delivers personalized support while leading structured activities such as:
Resiliency group meetings that promote self-awareness and emotional strength
Community service projects to instill a sense of social responsibility
Adventure-based recreation that fosters teamwork and personal growth
Through these engaging experiences, youth will have the opportunity to build resilience, strengthen relationships with positive peers, and develop a deeper connection to their community.
The Learning to Lead Youth Resiliency program will operate out of the City Centre Youth Hub (10453 Whalley Boulevard, Surrey). One-on-one mentorship services will be offered throughout Surrey, while group-based activities will take place across the Lower Mainland, primarily after school and on weekends.
We are honored to collaborate with the City of Surrey to support and uplift local youth. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for young people by fostering resilience, confidence, and leadership.
