Ashnola at The Crossing is a provincial, evidence-based, Tier 4 service located just outside of Keremeos, BC. Ashnola at The Crossing supports youth and young adults who are in need of residential treatment for substance use concerns. Ashnola at The Crossing is a participant-centred program with an average length of stay from three to six months based on individualized participant goals and treatment plans. The service is operated by Pacific Community Resources Society and is funded by PHSA and BCMHSUS in partnership with Central City Foundation.

Program Features

The philosophy at Ashnola at The Crossing is positive, strengths-based, and participant-centred, with a vision of all people thriving in strong, healthy communities. To assist in accomplishing this, the focus of treatment is ultimately on healing and restoration through the development and fostering of healthy relationships, while supporting individuals to identify and build on their own unique strengths, resilience, and personal values.

A participant at Ashnola at The Crossing can expect staff members to be welcoming, accepting, and non-judgemental. Ashnola at The Crossing has adopted a trauma-informed practice model which is reflected in all aspects of the service, the staffing model, and the overall culture.
