Ashnola at The Crossing requires a Manager who will lead a multi-disciplinary team and ensure an environment that supports the values of PCRS and a trauma informed environment. The manager will foster and influence the agency’s relationships with funders, and maintain broad external contacts. This position requires a sound understanding of service operations and management, applicable legislation, staff leadership, advocacy, team building, contract management, culture sensitivity, and service evaluation. The manager provides vision and on-site leadership to staff and ensures an operational plan is in place. Experience in youth addictions, residential care and a trauma-informed approach is essential.
Academic and Job Experience Required:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, combined with at least five (5) years’ experience in a leadership/manager position responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of operational programming related to services. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Experience in youth addictions, residential care and a trauma-informed approach
- Experience working in an isolated environment
- Experience creating and working within a culturally inclusive environment
- Effective team building and mentoring skills
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills: the ability to balance multiple, often conflicting priorities
- Criminal record check including the vulnerable sector
- Standard first aid certificate and CPR
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Use of own vehicle is required with paid mileage

Salary Range: $37.44/hour – $44.93/hour, Plus benefit package (100% employer paid)
