Prevention Summer Camps

The Prevention Summer Camp wrapped up their 7 week programming, going out with a bang with participants volunteering their time at local daycare where they taught the younger children different coping strategies for dealing with emotions. The girls worked in pairs making Mind Jars, teaching kids basic yoga poses and working on deep breathing through playing with bubbles. The campers were rewarded for all their hard work with a fun group activity of their choice, before celebrating their successes with a wrap up BBQ, certificate presentations and prizes for participation.
