Our participants are often vulnerable or marginalized from society. PCRS is committed to integrated service delivery that is people-centred, inclusive, collaborative, and evidence-based. PCRS has an annual operating budget of approximately 24 million, employs nearly 350 staff, and engages over 200 volunteers.
The transportation support worker may be the first point of contact for young people coming to the treatment center in Keremeos; therefore, the successful applicant will be an experienced child and youth care counsellor who understands the impact of addictions on youth. For some youth, this may be their first time away from home; thus the successful applicant will need to know; how to support youth with their anger, fear and frustration.
The successful applicant will work as part of a large team and will need to work a very flexible work schedule which may include evenings and weekends.
The successful applicant will have experience and knowledge in the area of addictions or residential work, and working with at risk youth and young adults.
Academic and Job Experience Required:
BA in a related field plus one year related experience, or a child and youth care diploma plus two years’ experience or a combination of related work experience and education with at-risk youth.

Salary Range: $21.07/hour – $23.94/hour, plus compensation in lieu of benefits
